Download the trial version here: http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT3/download.php

The trial is the same as the commercial version, you just need to enter your registration code.

Is filtering disabled in the trial? The player summary isn't filttered by date.

You've mentioned that the trial version forces you to create a new database and you cannot access the database that was created while using the beta... if we purchase the full version should we still download the trial, and start our database over? Or do we have the option to continue using our old database once we purchase the full version?

ngmcs8203, I think once you get a full registered version you'll be able to access the old database (and if you want, export all the hands so that you can import them into the new database you're using with the trial in the meantime - it seems getting registration codes is a bit slow at the moment (they really should have warned us about that before disabling our old databases)

Josh realised he's broken something in date filtering and will be fixing it ASAP.

The other reply is correct - once you register you will be able to add your old database(s) and export the hands from them.
Database -> Database Management -> New, then browse to your old DB.
Once you have added it, select it and click Export.
Once this has completed, make sure your new database is Active and use Manual Import to import from the folder you chose in Export.

(I can't give you a full answer, but I'm sure Josh will be putting full release notes up later.)
Very little is disabled. You can use only one (new) database, and I think the TableTracker may be disabled.
Edit: Oh, and you get a an extra trial lag screen at startup and shutdown.

Whiterider, can you shed some light on the registration code delay. How long should I expect to wait for a reg code?

I'm afraid I'm nothing to do with the registration codes. I understand there was some email server trouble so there could be a delay and some orders have to be processed by hand. If you don't get your code soon create a ticket on the Support system and give them all your details, but I'm sure it won't have got 'lost'.
