Where are the databases located at on the hard drive? And how can I get them back in PT3?

The database you had in the beta may not be currently accessible. Only those who have bought the software have the ability to access the old database. If you do have a paid copy, you can go to database -> database management. Click on the new button, and check the box (this database exist), then click on browse databases. Select the old database, click okay. Come back out to the database manager, and you can set it as default/active, whatever you need to do. If you want to combine the two databases, export one of them and manually import it into the other (under the manual import tab).

Doesn't work unsupported database type: PokerTracker 3 Database ()
error when I do the above recommendations. Please advise.

You cannot 'use' the old/beta databases in the commercial version, all you can do is select them and use the Export button to write the contents to files so that they can be imported into your new commercial-built database.
