I can't get table averages to show up at all..does this feature work yet?

Yes, it does. You need to create a new Group, and set it to "Table Averages: Show on table". Then add whichever stats you want. Note: if you are using Build 2, do NOT use the "$/hour ..." stats as they do not work.
