Guys

I have a few questions if you dont mind. I have downloaded the PT3 beta database and I am very impressed, very clean, easy on the eye and sleek 8-)

I bought PT about a year ago and used it in conjunction with PartyPoker, observing tables and importing hands histories etc on a number of players. I spent hours learning players styles better than they knew themselves lol ;) However, I was never a PC whizz so using it, the Gametime+ grabber and the HUD took me ages to work out. Anyway, my young baby came along and my time (and indeed love for poker) deserted me for a bit :cry:

I am now back and raring to go! I aim to wait for the PT3 full release in March but I have a few burning Q's -

1. Will there be an idiots guide for installation, use etc for the likes of me? I have tried to download the AHK HUD but have given up!
2. Will it still require a "hand grabber" like Gametime+ or PHG?
3. Will PartyPoker be the only site you can observe tables and import hands - I aim to use Full Tilt - can I observe and download from this site?
4. I hope to have it on my PC and my laptop - will I be able to do this?
5. What other software should we use in conjunction, if any?

Apologies for the dim Q's but I suspect that there will be 1000's of people like me wanting to use it but struggle with the technicalities of the PC and you guys seem to talk a different language! :lol:

1. If you're specifically talking about the AHK Hud, it's developed by one of the alpha testers here and should not be mistaken for the PT3 Hud that hasn't entered beta yet. I wrote a short guide how to set up the AHK Hud that you can find at viewtopic.php?f=15&t=180&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=110#p2631. If you're talking about PT3 and not the AHK Hud, there will be tonnes of documentation on how to use it and the PT3 Hud, as well as video tutorials. There's already some documentation up and you can find that at http://www.pokertracker3.com/products/PT3/docs/.

2. Not really understanding the question, but the PT3 Hud will work with all sites that the tracker can import from (if that answers your question... I dunno).

3. Full Tilt saves hand history from observed tables on your harddrive, so this is not a problem. You can already achieve this with the current beta versions.

4. I [b13c]think[/b13c] I've seen that the official answer has been that you will be able to use it on two computers.

5. Well, the PT3 Hud will be integrated into the product, so you'll probably not need any other software.
