Installing PT3

Maybe your antivirus software is 'protecting' you.
Try disabling it temporarily while you install.

I've tried it turning the firewall off as well. Still nothing.

I get a message saying "Open file security warning"

"The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software? Unknown publisher". This file does not have a valid digital signiture that verifies its publisher".

Then when I click "run" it goes to select a language and only when I click start do I get the message.

The weird thing is that I could get past all of this on the first installation attempt. :o

I have, yes. The strange thing though is that unlike PT3, it didn't show up in add/remove. The only place I found Postgre was in "search" so I deleted it from there.

I'm at a loss right now but I do appreciate your help.

Just deleting your postgres folders won't do it - did you do the full removal process listed in the thread I gave you earlier including the 'net user postres /delete' bit?

I tried to follow it but as I said, it didn't show up in add/remove. I also did the 'net user postres /delete' but didn't recive a success message or anything.

OK, let me see if I can get someone who knows more about postgres to have a look at this issue for you. It probably won't be for a few hours now because they are in the US, so please bear with us.
