Observed hands

I selected "Import observed hands" and "store hand history text file", but the program doesn't import hands neither store the hand history. I'm playing on stars....why?

Because Stars doesn't write hand histories for observed hands - they don't allow datamining.
For table selection purposes PT3 (beta 15 onwards) will import 30 hands per session.

Ok, but 30 hands should be stored...I go to my tournament tab and If highlight a player observed, PT3 tells me nothing, no stats. Anyway the hand history are stored on PS

Have you clicked 'Refresh' after the hands have been imported?
Hand history files are NOT created for observed hands - pokerstars does not create them, and PT3 imports the 30 hands but does not create files for them.

so if I want to rebuild my database and reimport my HH after the final build, I will lose my observed hands or will I be able to export all observed hands and reimport them? (hope I didn't make that overly confusing).... Essentially, I want to nuke my database and then reimport all the hands so I can get rid of any odd "import errors" that took place from prior builds and versions of PT3 that show wrong info without me having to single them all out one by one. Since observed hands don't have a file, I'm hoping for an export function for observed only. (I play on Stars btw)

Yes, I'm pretty sure those observed hands will export - I haven't actually tried this myself yet, but I'll test later if I have time.

Sorry for the delay, but I tested this now and the observed hands are exported and imported fine.
