Tournament history information lost

I opened up up PT3 last night and all of the sudden I won lots of money. In fact every tournament I have ever played I won!! :D

Actually it looks like for some reason the datebase lost all the tournament history information. I then looked at my HH folder and it was empty. This is the first time in a few months it was totally empty. I guess it was never moving the files over to the processed folder until yesterday for some reason. So what I did was copy all of my tournament history files from the processed folder back to the HH folder and it added all the information back in the DB.

How can I prevent this from happening?

The information in the database is unrelated to the files in the hand history folder once those hands have been imported once.
If you put them back in the hand history folder then the auto import will have to read them again, but since it's already read them they will be reported as duplicates and ignored.
You do not have to keep the hand history files in the hand history folder after they have been imported into PT3.

You should keep the 'move processed files to' option checked on the auto import tab, so that the files can be moved as you describe - this is the intended behaviour.

I have uploaded the tournament history over time and all my tournaments used to be correct until yesterday all the tournies all of the sudden showed up that I won them all. So it was lost from the DB at one time. That is my concern.

I believe that I have the same problem. I entered satellite tourney results manually yesterday (8/11/08) and now they are gone.

To be clear, my position in the tournament was correct in most cases. (There were some errors for SpeedTurbo satellites.) However, PokerTracker did not know the value of the buy-in won. All of this information appears to be gone now.

This makes my net results look really depressing. :(

I've already created a support ticket. I'm posting it here to highlight the parallel between our problems, in the hope that is helpful.

By the way, I am running v3beta15 on XP.

I am running Vista and all of my play is on Pokerstars. I was reading on Pokerxfactor forums and someone had a problem with HH and Notes being gone after a pokerstars update. Maybe this will help point the admins in the right direction.

The recent pokerstars update made PS 'forget' to write hand histories, and to run as admin.
It may also have removed existing hand history files, but that doesn't affect what is already in PT3.
