Postby sostegno » Tue Aug 19, 2008 11:27 am

Hey, when is the next "NO" BETA version to be expected ?
Or do we all have to switch to holdem manager ? And spend an additional 80 bucks ?

I wish I had never bought PT3. Holdem Manager is much more stable then PT3. I tried a lot of the things suggested on this site but I'm still unable to play for longer then an hour or two before PT3 crashes. I just don't see any point in waisting my time with Beta versions that don't work. I would also like to know when a stable version is coming out.

don't know why you guys keep saying it crashes all the time. It works fine here and the tweaks to postgres have made database lookups lightning quick on my setup. I regularly play 6-8 tables at a time with HUD on and no problems other than having to restart the hud every few hours. It's not a huge thing and I'm sure they are working on it.

Bitching about it incessantly doesn't help the situation.

Your smug response isn't helping the situation either. I'm glad it works great for you but for MANY other people it's a huge pain in the ass. We didn't buy Poker Tracker to be beta testers. I paid for this 5 MONTHS AGO and still do not have proper working stable software. This is why everyone is so pissed off and still complaining. The fact that these guys won't give refunds is another slap in the face. I realize we agreed to no refunds when we bought it, but that was as long as the product ACTUALLY WORKS! If you buy something at the store that has a no refund policy, they will still give you a refund if the item is broken or not as advertised. The no refund policy is only there so if you change your mind your out of luck.
