beta 16 problem

I just installed beta 16 and I cant get the program to run, I have tried clicking on the shortcut and opening it in the program files but it wont work.

What happens?
Do you get error messages? What does it say?
Did the installation complete OK?

The installation completed fine as far as I know, when I try to open it nothing happens, no error messages nothing at all.

That's very strange. Did you have a previous version of PT3 running OK before?
Try re-installing.
If you still get the same lack of response, Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log file to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

I've tried re-installing several times but no luck. How can I enable logging if I cant get the program to start? All the previous betas opened up instantly, I didnt have trouble with any of them.

I have the same problem. The "Poker Tracker 3 beta 16" picture appears, but it just stays up and the program never loads. I tried reinstalling, rebooting, etc.
I had problems with beta 15 as well, but I don't remember if it was the same thing or a different problem because I simply switched back to beta 14 right away. Now I'm on mega tilt because I can't find any place to DL beta 14, so I went back to the crappy version 2 which crashed 20 minutes into 14 tabling 200nl and led to me tilting away a buyin...

Another problem I've had with every version is that PT3 makes my pokerstars client just freeze up now and then. Some hands time out by the time I can log back on. PT itself doesn't crash, only pokerstars does. It's been a highly frustrating experience, and 90$ is only a small fraction of what this program has really cost me...

by the way, I'm using windows vista and yes I "run as administrator"

I have just had a similar problem to this, which I just posted as a new thread. I never had an issue like this until the latest version. I had Stars, ipoker, FTP and Party all freeze at once. Happened again (with exception of FTP) and now I can't start PT3 at all.

Same problem here, splash screen comes up, doesn't go away and program screen never comes up.

Log indicates problem connecting to update server. I would hope that's not the problem and that the programmers had the sense to add a timeout for that and continue to main program in the event of update server connect fail.
