Just another crash

Postby DonkFish » Fri Aug 29, 2008 10:31 am

I'm running PT version 3 beta 16 on a w2k system.

I bought that software months ago and since then it never worked correctly. I have been promised umpteen times that the next update will solve all problems. I am a software developer myself and know from experience that there is some uncertainty when a software is ready to use. In this case my patience has been overstretched by a large margin.

Because there have been some problems with Poker Tracker all the time I'm happily installed the new version. I see two *major* problems:

1. For unknown reasons the systems complains about to less memory. (Running Pokerstars 2 tables max plus PT).

2: Sometimes I get such errors:

2008/08/29 15:56:32: PokerStars: Hand Imported (#...) from 10... 7
2008/08/29 15:58:03: PokerStars: Hand Imported (#...) from 10... 7

2008/08/29 15:58:56: Auto-Import stopped.
2008/08/29 15:58:56:

The access violation is not a marginal problem. The software simply does not work. Short and sweet: I'm fed up to the back teeth with it! Instead of problems getting solved things are getting worse! If I can place a bet this software will ever work correctly I know where to put my money on.

I will *never again* buy any software or anything else which is in "beta stage". Especially not from this manufacturer.

Did you have logging enabled when this happened?
If not, Please enable logging, and if you see it again submit your PokerTracker.log and the hand history files (zip/compress them first, call it logs.zip) to the
Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.
