won amount differs from "real" won amount

Postby Knudsen » Mon Sep 01, 2008 6:49 am

Hi

I have v. 3 b.16 installed and play on the ongame platform (please fix the HUD soon.. :o) )

After a session my won amount in PT differs from my won amount in the lobby.

At first I thought it was due to an import error at a few hands (something about floptexture) but after I session today I noticed that I have had zero import errors and the amount was still a bit of.

Anybody else expiriences this - and what to do? :)

best regards

I understand that OnGame lags behind a bit when writing hand histories, so you need to leave the lobby open for a while after you close your tables to make sure that all the HH files are written, and therefore can be imported into PT3.
Have a look at the session in the Sessions tab of PT3 and see what the last hands imported were - see if you can remember whether they were the last ones you actually played, or see what time they were.

hmm yes I see I've lost a few hands this way. This could indeed be the source to the problem. Thank you.

After a session today I have according to PT played 505 hands (including the last ones in the orbit) and I have had one import error for a totalt of 506 hands.

The won amount is according to PT -9$ and according to the lobby +41$. In the statistics in the lobby I can see that I in the session had played 536 hands.

I'm therefore missing 30 hands.

I have no idea if this is a PT or ongame bug - im just reporting my observation.

Does anybody else experience this problem?

Just to confirm - you can see the last hand you played in PT3, can you?
I know 500+ hands is a lot to count, so next time you play a short session and see a discrepency, check the hand history file and see how many hands there are in the file.
Ah, are OnGame hands in some sort of database file, rather than plain text files? That makes it trickier.
I would say, though, if PT3 has only reported one error hand, then there are probably only those 506 hands in the file.
Please attach the HH file for that session to the Support system , and link to this thread in the reference field of the ticket so that we can investigate.

hmm this is weird.

I tried making some small session where I sat out and reloaded alot seeing if I could provoke an error. During these small sessions PT crashed and had to be restartet. After the restart PT began importing all the old hands from the 500+ session again. Afterwards it shoved 532 hands and 3 errors (+1 from previous - totalling 536 hands).

The 3 errors are:

OnGame: Error: Invalid player encountered: r41p3 (hand #4755515580060) (Hand #4755515580060)
OnGame: Error: Invalid river line encountered: RIVER [board cards INVALID RIVER INFORMATION ] (Hand #4755466730435) (Hand #4755466730435)
OnGame: Error: Invalid flop line encountered: FLOP [board cards INVALID FLOP INFORMATION ] (Hand #4755466730311) (Hand #4755466730311)

I dont have the handhistory but perhaps you can request them at Eurobet if interested.

Did you have logging enabled while you did this? The logfile would be really useful in working out why PT3 crashes, so please send them via the Support system if you have them. Otherwise, enable logging, and reproduce the problem.
I doubt that we can request your hand histories, but even if we did they would probably be complete because they would be re-generated from a different source.
Again, next time you see this kind of thing, zip the HH file (right click -> Send To Compressed Folder) and attach it to a ticket.
