Can't Log in

I have tried the above, and still cannot get PokerTracker to work. When I first used PT3 it worked great. Now I try everything, and still cannot get it to work.

I have done all of this. These errors will occur if your PostgreSQL database is not running. Click Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Stop Service, then Start --> Programs --> PostgreSQL --> Start Service to restart the PostgreSQL server. If PostgreSQL does not start properly, click Start --> Find Files/Folders and search for a file named postmaster.pid on the partition where PostgreSQL is installed. Once you find that file, delete it, then restart PostgreSQL as above, and it will start properly.

I did it several times last week too. I have spent hours trying to get this to work, and I cannot. I am using PT version 3.00 build 2 and PostgreSQL 8.2. When I start Pokertracker 3 it opens with a small pop-up window, which stalls. I can then go to PostgreSQL 8.2 and hit Start Database and Pockertracker will start. Still, when I hit Begin Auto Import, I get this message

2008/09/02 12:12:09: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "localhost" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?

Please help

After you start the postgres service, open Task Manager (ctrl-alt-del) and look on the Processes tab to see if there are any postgres processes running.
If you then get the error again, check Task Manager again.
It sounds like something is stopping postgres running.
