Housekeeping taking WAY too long?

I admit I havent clusted/vacuumed my DB in probably 200k hands. And my database consists of easily over a million hands. I went to do the all out house keeping and by 50 minutes I wasnt even 1% complete clustering... What should i do?

Edit: I am using Postgres 8.3

The progress % is misleading - it is for the operations being done, not each part of each operation. So it will stay at zero till it's done the first part, and then jump to 25% (if you are doing all 4).
This will be changed..
