PT3 keeps crashing

When I start playing everything is fine. But when I get up 16 tables on FTP after a short time I keep getting this pop up that PT3 has stopped working and has to close. It has become pretty annoying as it happens everytime. I tried tweaking the Performance Tuning PostgreSQL but that hasn't seemed to work. Even playing 12 tables it will work fine but that my system seems to slow down over time while playing. For example, when trying to open IE it will take much longer to open and then theres a delay on the tables. It's like everything freezes for 3 seconds up to 30 sec and then I'm timed out. When I first purchased PT3 it seemed to work for the most part without closing but seems to have gotten worse the last 2 weeks. It just seems that my system is being over ran and gets really slow.

Any suggestions?

My system specs are.....Apple Mac Pro 3.0GHz (8-core) processors and 5GB RAM. I'm have boot camp running Vista 32-Bit. iTunes usually running but nothing else.

Have you re-run Housekeeping recently? As your database gets bigger things will slow down, but cluster/vacuum/analysing and building the cache should keep it all running OK.
