duplicates of PT related processes running

my computer has been hanging about twice a day lately when playing on full tilt. each time for about a minute.

when i opened the task manager i noticed that the process "postgres.exe" is running 11 times, and the process "pokertracker.exe" is running twice.

when closing PT3, the "pokertracker.exe" processes were closed, but six of the "postgres.exe" processes remained.

is this normal?

Yes, there will always be multiple postgres processes - this is how the workload is shared around.
