Postby hydra2k » Sat Sep 20, 2008 10:05 am

Hello,

I have been reading the other posts about this bug but, Could you tell me the correct SQL sentence in order to delete all these hands (only from 1970) ?

If I purge my Database I will loose all my tournaments and data information.

Thanks

Hydra

Note: In my PokerTracker 3 beta 17 I have two differents users one from FullTilt poker and other one from PokerStars, the information from FullTilt poker it's correct but the information from PokerStars (other username) is not correct, maybe, this information can help to investigate better this bug.

Selective Purge will be added soon, but it's not safe to try and remove this yourself using SQL as lots of things in the database are interconnected.

To delete your hands, until selective purge has been added, you'd have to purge your whole database from the database management screen and reimport your hands.

How I can reimport all my hands ? I don't have the historial.

Doesn't exist some SQL sentence to delete only the 1970 hands ?

You could export your hands from your existing database and re-import them into a new one. That should resolve the 1970 problem. I'm 95% confident it will, but you should create a new database instead of purging, just in case something doesn't work right.

Josh

Thanks for your answer but, if I import all my hands (i will import the 1970 hands also) the problem is HOW i can "exclude" ONLY these hands.

If I do a backup and purge and after that i do a restore, do you think that it will work ?

Thanks you

The hands that imported as being in 1970 were imported improperly due to a change in the PokerStars hand history file. Beta 18 will import these hands properly, so once you reimport them you won't have any hands that "took place" in 1970 left.

That's not the kind of backup and restore you need to do. You need to export your hand histories ( Database menu -> Database Management -> Export button), then create a new database, then import those exported hands into your new database.
