Newb to PT3 (PT2 user) I have HUD Questions (and others)

1. how to i make my stats transparent (the ones that are always visible on a given table)

2. How to i assign an Icon (like pt2) to a given player? (the eagle, fish etc).

3. i currently have ammeded my visible stats to show:
hands, vpip, pr
3bet pf, fold to a bb steal, fold to sb steal
amount won, won at a show down, total aggression.
what changes are ideal to my setup or other additions should i add?

1. At the moment you can only make them translucent, but this includes the text. We're hoping to allow transparent backgrounds at some point.
2. This feature will be in the next beta release, due within the next couple of days.
3. I'm not going to advise on choice of stats - this really depends on what information you want about your opponents. You need to think about how you want to use the information.

this is how i have it currently set up. im not sure what im doing wrong to not make it transparent
Ideally what i want is the stats over the players name. that way i can still see their names, and not have
the solid look. hope this makes sense.

how to i make them translucent?
that means i can still see whatever is behind teh stats right?

That's right, but if you make them completely clear you won't see the stats at all - it's not just the background that will be translucent.
I guess you have the 'enhance hud performance' option enabled - this makes all Groups solid. HUD Options tab of hud config window, uncheck the option.

this is what im looking for. you can see the players name, or time bar through their stats. how is this done?
as you can see from the previous image i posted mine is different.
