differences in pt v pt3 stats.

Postby baba » Tue May 27, 2008 12:45 pm

I have just downloaded and installed pt3, i loaded it up and it imported a load of hands. Clearly it wouldn't import all the hands i have ever played but it seems to have imported around 22,000 hands dating back around 6weeks ago. However when I filter pt2 and pt3 for hands played this month I get a total different values. pt2 says i have played 15000, and pt3 says i have played 12000. (approximate) As a result all my other stats are also different.

I don't have any idea why this might be and i was wondering if you could help?

Regards

Are you certain you did not miss any hands? If some hand history files were located elsewhere and not included in the import that could explain the discrepancy.

I would recommend trying to narrow down further exactly where the hands you are missing are from. If you filter for, say, the first two weeks of the month in PT3 and PT2 do they still disagree? If not you know the missing hands are from the end of the month. If you can narrow it down to a specific hand that doesn't import properly we would very much like to see the hand history if you have it.

Also, if you imported from original hand histories you could also consider exporting your hands from PT2 and importing from that export into PT3. That way you can be certain everything in PT2 is at least in the HH files and you aren't missing any for those reasons.

problem fixed
i removed my filters and saw that poker tracker saved some hands at 5 max and some just to 400nl. I had my filter set just to 400nl. All my hands were 5 max at ongame.

An option to convert levels will be added soon.
