That's why I couldn't find anything anyone was referring to. It was somehow installing in some bizarre temporary document or something. Not sure, but I sort of pointed it in the general direction of Poker Tracker/postgreSQL (not sure where exactly), but it works, So I got the password to authenticate by editing the config file as was directed.

Now I have a 3rd error, but I have hope now.

It says: Unable to begin feeder import process. Reason: Unable to login to database (PT3 DB). Reason: FATAL: database "PT3 DB" does not exist

Will search for more info in the forums. I've fixed 2 errors, and this one looks the simplest of the three.

Any help though would be appreciated!

Glad you're making progress.
Where do you see this new error? Sounds like the database wasn't created properly. Can you open the database management window? What do you see? Can you create a new DB?

I did create a new database and it seemed to work somewhat until the populating thing that froze it up. Then I a threw it all out and reinstalled everything from the beginning late yesterday. But it still did the populating thing and froze.

I am just opening it now again. It seems okay so far. I hit the hold'em tab but it doesn't populate. Loading then populating flicks up in the window then is gone, and it says 0 people at the bottom. It does this each time I hit refresh on that tab. Oh, I was on the cash game tab...

Switching to the tournament tab (I play tournaments until I move up in $ where ring game people aren't insane - all in, all in, all in, etc. Often 3 or 4 at a time). How do you play against that, but to keep paying the blind and hope to get lucky?

Okay, I accidentally clicked on the bottom bar because I didn't think it was already open and it freaked out the computer and it filled with pert of this screen in the window it had been in. Aaaccckkk!

Control - Alt - Delete - Task manager says that it is Not Responding. Ended the task. The CPU was at some HUGE # - usually 100% when it crashes.

Opening again. Now I click on the Texas Hold'em Tab and then the tournament tab. And then it did the populating thing immediately but nothing came and none of the other tabs or drop-down menus work now. I accidentally clicked on the bottom bar again and the window became part of this again. Sigh. Closed in Task Manager again. CPU said 100% with 44 processes.

Will be uninstalling this again so I can use the parts of the program while playing some. Missing poker play desperately. Will check the forum and go through my posts and search for others that might give me more ideas while in the trial version and still mull over what to do next.

Anyway,

So did you manage to import some hands? Cash or tournament? Did that work OK?
Please disable the 'minimize to task bar' option (menu: Configure -> Options) in Build 2 as it does not work properly.

At one point I was able to, but now I can't remember which. I was able to on one of the trial versions, before I registered at least (not now though), and on one of the registered versions recently, probably Build 2. Will go back to the registered version of 2.
