Lag Problems with Beta 13

Hi,

I downloaded beta 13, because the HUD didn't work at all in build 2. The good news is that the HUD in beta 13 is working great now on Stars. The bad news is that PT3 now freezes my whole computer for 2 or 3 seconds every 2 or 3 hands. To have a valid test, I restarted my computer, shutdown everything except PT3 and Stars, and only played 2 tables. PT3 still freezes every couple of hands. This is far too annoying to keep using (I would sooner just do without the HUD). But I'm going back to PT2 now, because I can't take it anymore. I guess I'll just lose the last month of hands. It is extremely disappointing to have paid this much money for a commercial software release that really should still be in alpha. I will keep monitoring the forums to see if PT3 ever actually becomes usable, but I'm sorry I bought it, and wil have to think long and hard before ever buying software here again.

Sorry to hear about the freeze ups. Could youPlease enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log to the
Support system , and link to this thread.

You do not need to lose your month's hands.
They are probably still in the 'move processed files to' folder, but if not you can export them from PT3 and import into PT2. Database -> Database Management : select DB, click Export.

Unable to attach the log file, I just keep getting a message about being unable to display the page. Once, I actually got it to attach, but got the unable to display page when I tried to submit it. I'm over it.

Can you elaborate on the process of exporting the PT3 database & importing into PT2? I did the export from database maintenance in PT3, but it doesn't appear to have exported anything, either in the directory I told it to put it in, or the one it said it was putting it in despite my choice. Is there someplace else I should be looking?

Do you mean like the webpage couldn't display? Were you able to browse to your log file? You need to click "Browse" to find the file, not "Attach".

There shouldn't be anything to elaborate on.. You've obviously got to the export window, and it should just write where you tell it to - I've never had any problems with that. Did it say it had finished, and tell you how many hands it had written?
