There is a problem with aliases in Build 2. Are you trying to remove the alias with an import running? Did you add it yesterday with an import running?

I'm fairly sure the original cause of your problem is fixed since Build 2, but before you do anything else..
Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log to the
Support system , and link to this thread.

When people had the problem with aliases before they were able to remove them ok, so this could be something different.
I think the problem is to do with the way the alias is added in build 2, rather than how it is removed so I'm not sure whether updating to beta 13 would help. You may need to start a new database - do you have your original hand histories still in the 'processed' folder?
If not, I suggest doing an Export (Database Management screen).

Is your PT3 registered?

Hi

No import was running when i added or when i tried to remove the alias.

Ive sent the log via support as requested , and yes PT3 is registered.

Hope support can solve the problem, as i would really really really really rather not import all the hands again :)

Thanks

Yes, I hope we can avoid re-importing, but please make sure you have your HH files just in case.
You can try beta 13 if you want to try removing the alias.

I have updated to the latest version as requested by support ..

Sadly ... still cant remove the alias without crashing ...

What options do i have left apart from re-importing all my hands ??

Thanks

Hmm. This seems a bit weird.

I recall a user was having this kind of issues when he set his aliases if both aliases had been playing in the same tournament for instance (in this case it was his wife's and his own account, and they had been playing in the same freeroll or something) so he couldn't add the alias. However, in your case these have obviously already been added without those errors and you want to remove it, so I'm not really sure of the top of my head what could be going on. We'll take a look at your log file and try to figure this out.
