Tranfer P2 to P3

Hello i just download PT3 in my computer and while trying to download my old PT2 it keeps giving me old sort of mistakes.
My old PT2 is not on SQL , i thought that the new PT3 would tranfer my date without any problems...
anyway so then i end up downloding the new PT3 version with out SQL and yes still have the same problem
it keep saying the same things..

anyone can help in plain english or do i need to go to uni to do all this??

Did you already have postgres installed on your computer?
If not, and if you downloaded PT3 without postgres then it shouldn't be running, because you need to have postgres installed.

Those files are not importing because they are not the correct type.
