"Partygaming: Found 40 files to monitor"

Anything for me to be worrying about?

Ah... clicked "stop import" so I could restart the auto-import and see if it would do it again or would only be monitoring 1 file instead, and the whole thing has locked up.

I had to alt-f4 and start PT3 again. :(

It sounds like you didn't have the previously imported HH files being moved - do you have the 'move processed files to' option set on auto import?
Auto import is slow compared to manual import, so if you have a lot of files like this you should first do a manual import, then move the files away before starting auto import.

It definitely sounds like that, doesn't it?

But, unless the way that function works was changed for B13.1 (the previous version I was running - albeit only for a short time), then I've had the "move processed files to" option set all along, and there SHOULD have been no other files there for it to import other than the one game I was playing at the time.

Has this sorted itself out by auto import moving the files away after you stop it?
Please have a look in the folder and see if there are excess files there.

When I tried B13.1, Josh had changed the place it looked for HH files to the "/partypoker" folder as oppose to the old "/partypoker/HH/" way of doing it.

Is it still meant to be "/partypoker" or has it been changed back to the original "/partypoker/hh" folder that PT3 needs to be pointed at?

Mine was still set to the B13.1 method, and I noticed that some of the files weren't HH files, they were various random files from the PP folder.

Anyway, it was working OK most of the time with STTs but for some reason wasn't working at all with any MTTs, so I've gone back to B13.1 for now.

I don't know I'm afraid. I don't play at party much, and haven't tried it recently. Try setting it to the HH folder and see if it finds any hands.
