change from built 2 expired commercial vers to beta 14

What have i to think over if I wanna change to the current beta 14?I use built 2 in the moment. Can I just load the beta 14 without removing built2 :?: and must i use the beta with or without postgres? And must I create a new database and reimport hands? Can I use my old tablelayout or must i save it and can import then? Questions over questions... :o thanks a lot (in faq they say i dont need to uninstall a previous version... but is it the same if i wanna change from a commercial to a beta or only if i wanna upgrade the beta? )

don't uninstall anything; just install the pt beta 14 stand-alone installer WITHOUT postgres over the top of release 2; this will preserve your layouts and database...
