Trouble Installing

For some reason I'm having trouble installing PT3b14. I've never had trouble updating when there is a new version available, but when I try to install an error comes up saying:

Error opening file for writing:

C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.exe

Click Abort to stop the installation,
Retry to try again, or
Ignore to skip this file.


I'm probably making a very stupid mistake somewhere, but I have no idea where(I'm terrible with computers). Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Are you sure PT3 is not still running???? It seems like the OS keeps the file locked, and there are basically only 2 reasons for that, of which the most obvious is that PT3 is still active. Check the task manager for PT activities and kill that. Then try again.
