Poker Stars problem

Postby Joss » Sat Jul 12, 2008 1:57 pm

Hi

Ive been using PT3 for ipoker with no real problems .. but something odd with Stars.

I sit down at a table and auto import hands and start up the HUD ..

The hands are imported ok and the HUD kicks in with the stats ok ..

I finish the session and stop the auto import and then go and check how ive done ..but alas there are no stats for the session .. even even i refresh etc ...

Its obviously recording the hands ok ... but not storing them or something .... any ideas ?

Thanks again

Joss

What version of PT3 are you running?
Have you set up an alias?
If not, I assume you're switching to look at the correct player ID for your stars player.

Im running the lastest version .. V3 beta 14 ( postgre sql )

No alias has been set up, just the screen name in settings .

I managed to get the first 2 sessions up by doing a manual import .. Its just not showing hands ive done on auto import .

There are no filters being used .

Kinda confusing .. :)

Do you have the same name at both sites?
They will still be recorded as separate players, one for each site - can you see the second player in the list?

Have you tried restarting PT3?
Also, have a look round the other tabs and see if you can see the hands there.

No .. two seperate names, and restarted PT3 .

This is on my 2nd computer and ive only played about 1600 hands on it, so the database aint that big .

Today i manually imported all these 1.6k hands from the processed file and its showing them now ... but i played about 30 hands today just to check and again .. it seems the auto import option dont work ... its recording the hands ok .. because the HUD is updating ok and the hands are being processed once i finish a session ...

Its just they are not updating on the texam holdem option ... unless i manually import them ..

That doesn't make sense..
Is the auto import window showing the hands importing correctly, or reporting any errors?
When you do the manual import they should be showing as duplicates if they were imported by auto import and are showing in the HUD while you're playing.

I will have a look when im there again tommorrow ..

I agree ... it makes little sense ..

Maybe because 2 people play poker at Stars on this computer ... one has used PT2 and ive used PT3 .. all the hands are from the PT3 processed file ..I have no idea if 2 usernames causes a problem ..

Although the 2nd guy has not played for awhile and has not used PT3 as far as im aware of .. I will check to see if his screen name is up on my PT3 database tommorrow .. but i doubt it TBH ..

ok .. had a small session but had to manually import again ..

Right now im playing and auto importing and hands are going up on the import screen so why on earth are they not showing after they are processed ?

No errors are showing right now ... and when i manually import i get a lot of duplicates .. which is understandable ..

The hand history directory is C:\Program Files\PokerStars\HandHistory\screen name .....
