CANNOT IMPORT!

Postby rusex69 » Thu Jul 17, 2008 12:30 am

Hello, my pt3 was working good and today I downloaded the last release, Imported (manually) from a folder and everything went ok then went to import from another folder and getting this " Fatal Exception during Auto-Import process: Unable to execute query: INSERT INTO player VALUES (0, 0, '[Split Pot]', '[Split Pot]', 0, 0, FALSE);; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: index "player_primary_key" is not a btree )", also get the same error when I auto-import while playing..
I also use PT2 untill PT3 works 100% and today Im also getting a similar message "Error deleting from PREFS Table, the error was: 7-SQLSTATE=S1000, error:index"prefs_idx_01" is not a btree" (this is also manual import and the folder in which I put the hands to import havent changed ive been importing like this for a few months. Could you answer the PT2 question here or should I post it on the other forum?
Thanks

Please have a look at the Database / Postgres FAQ as I think there is a similar error mentioned there. If that doesn't help, please post back.
IIRC that fix is to do with the database, not PT3, so it may fix your PT2 problem too, but if not I suggest you post in the PT2 forums too - Pat may have a solution to this. If he does, please post back here and link to it so that I can update our FAQs. Thanks.

Did you have any crashes or power failures, etc while you were doing the previous import to the one that fails?
Are you getting this problem every time now?
If you have a registered version, you could try creating a new database and importing to that as a test, just to confirm whether the problem is with that database.

Ok I can now confirm that the problem is with the new databases I just created...since I tried importing both manually and auto into the last month db and its working...but yesterday the first time I imported into one of them it worked but now non of them do...so I guess I should just errase and create new dbs again right or is there something else to it?
Also PT3 is importing manually quite slow...it always goes at 120+h/s and its going 10h/s any sugestions?
Thanks

Just clarify this for me. When you import this session into any database, it breaks it?
If so, please zip and attach the session hand histories to the Support system , and link to this thread..

Or are you saying that any new database you create now doesn't work?

Slow manual import is normally related to hand history files with very large numbers of hands. How many hands in the file you're importing?
