I don't know.
Is this a PT3 error message, or a Windows one?

Please enable logging, reproduce the problem and submit your PokerTracker.log file to the
Support system , and link to this thread.

Since you can't run PT3, you'll need to edit the file
C:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\Data\Config\PokerTracker.cfg
and make sure it includes

[General]
Logging=Y

have you got any CA products installed? If so,it's probably AV or firewall; you need to get a patch from their website (or better still, dump it and get a proper AV solution)...

i don't think stopping it is sufficient; remove it or goto the CA Tech. Support/Forums for a patch...

The log file will be in the main PT3 folder.
c:\Program Files\PokerTracker 3\PokerTracker.log
(it might be "PokerTracker (text document)" if you have file extensions turned off)

dave,

creating a support ticket is a bit of waste of time & [your] resources here; it's unlikely a PT problem - it's either a corrupt installer download or a CA problem which they need to patch or the OP needs to set exceptions (files to be excluded from scanning) for a circumvention.

Sorry, yes, re-reading - is the original problem installing PT3 or running it?
