PT3 Multi User?

Hello,

I am testing the trial of PT3 and i must say i love it. I was testing to see if it was possible to use it in multi user mode (my wife also plays poker). I have a postgress database installed on my server and i imported several thousands of hands with no problems (expect for some table denomination error on old everest logfiles). Tonight i was testing to see if my wife and i can play one two diferent laptops and use the same PT3 database. It worked for about one minute until my wife got errors about a PK conflict (i think because we were both using the auto import function at the same time). Can you tell me if it is possible to use one PT3 database at the same time with two seperate PC's (auto-import)? Or do we each need to create our own database (would be a shame because we play on the same sites).

No, you can't import into the same database from 2 computers at once, it could cause errors in the database.

we've had a testbed of four PC's all updating the same PT database with auto-import on - all at the same time, to test all the locking in the postgres postmaster and PT - no problems, not one single corruption...
