Incorrect data from imported hand

Postby alotbsol » Wed Jul 30, 2008 10:16 pm

I have an imported tournament from pokerstars and on the unfortunate hand I got knocked out on, PT3 shows me and the villian with the same hole cards. I reviewed the hand history file from PS and the cards are different (as they should be). Any idea why this would happen and how I can correct it in the database?

Love the program, just wish it was easier to edit the data.

Thanks!

If you have a registered copy of PT3 please try creating a new test database and import just that hand/session and see if you get the same problem. If so, or if you can't test, please attach the file to the Support system , and link to this thread.

I tried the new database idea and it still input the hand incorrectly. So i went and analyzed the way the information in the text file looked and found that in the summary section of the hand, several players hand results ran together in one single line. I added the line breaks to each seat result and then reimported and the cards came in as they should. Strange, but now I know if I have this problem again, what to do.

Thanks

So, having determined how to fix the problem with a new database, is there a way to fix the existing database?

Unfortunately, not at the moment. Selective purge will be added but hasn't been added yet, please keep an eye on the Development Timeline for updates on this. When this feature is added, you can simply purge the hand and reimport it.
