Is it really worth the hassle to upgrade to PT3 from PT2?

Postby TPGUN » Thu Jul 31, 2008 6:31 pm

I've been using PT2 and PAHUD for over a year. I see a lot of issues on this board with PT3, and, I'm quite satisfied with PT2 + PAHUD.

So my questions are:

Is it worth the hassle to upgrade? If so, what new features make it worth it?
Will I be able to transfer all of the data I've accumulated from PT2 on players over the last 1 1/2 yrs to PT3?
Can I still datamine 15 tables while I sleep with PT3?

Thanks very much for your input! :D

There are still a few issues, primarily with the HUD, in PT3 so if you're happy with PT2 there is no need to update straight away.
However, there is a free trial of PT3 and you can run both together, so you could try it out.
You can get all your hand data from PT2 into PT3, although at the moment tournament summary info doesn't transfer properly.

Download and install PT3.
