PT3 Hud

Postby Dave2916 » Sat Aug 02, 2008 7:49 am

Hello, I'm not too good with this type of thing and am having trouble with the HUD displaying more than the basic information. It displays the VPIP TAF and PFRaise% but when I click on it to bring up the bigger vertical menu no numbers appear there, not even the stats that are already being calculated on the table view already.

Any help much appreciated.

Dave.

So the pop up stat box is appearing but without any numbers?
This normally indicates slow stat retrieval. Stop importing, use the Database menu to Cluster, Vacuum, Analyse - this should speed things up.

This hasn't resolved the situation. Ive noticed that the hands arent updating unless I manually stop the HUD and then restart it even though it has been config. to auto update. Pop up box still shows no information either.

What version of PT3 are you using?
If it's not Beta 15, please try it.
Download and install PT3.
Please read the Beta 15 release notes first.

Problem seems to be solved! Thanks for your help. One last question - I wish to display my own stats on the table and also the table averages. How to do this? Tried config. but failed lol.

Problem has now come back! So frustrating. The HUD stats are not being updated unless I switch it off and on again. Feedback please?

Please see the HUD config guides in the Documentation or the How To: HUD Configuration.

Please check your filters on the HUD Options, make sure you don't have any gaps in Refresh Rates or anything.
How many tables do you have open?
Do you have many other applications running?
What is the CPU load like? Task Manager / Performance.

I have no idea what the refresh rate numbers are supposed to correlate to. ATM they are:

Min Max RE
0 25 1
25 100 5
100 200 10
200 100000 20

Only one table because trying to get it working.

No other apps running in the background apart from Firefox etc.

The CPU when running is about 15-30%ish.

They look reasonable. They mean that when you have between 1 and 25 hands on a player, their stats will update every hand, between 25 and 100 hands they will update every 5 hands, etc.
Could that explain what you are seeing?

I understand how the numbers work now that you have explained it. However the HUD does not update the numbers every hand when I first sit down at a Pokerstars table, or at any other time for that matter. So something else is wrong.

Any other ideas?
