stats refined to when I'm the villain

There are a few simple existing stats, where I'd also like to see the stat limited to when I'm the villain. For instance, "Fold BB to SB steal" is great, but what I really want to know is how often he folds when _I_ try this steal.

This stat is,
(cnt_p_BB_fold_to_SB / cnt_p_BB_fold_to_SB ) * 100

so, it seems like I just need to copy the columns for cnt_p_BB_fold_to_SB and cnt_p_BB_fold_to_SB, and add another "AND" to refine it to when my player name is in the SB. Is that about right? What expression will limit those to just when a specific player is in the SB?

You can't check for information on a specific opponent in stats like that, but you can do this sort of thing with a custom report - see this post.

It would really be nice if I could have this information in my HUD. irl, a friend suggest that if I raised to $25.10 instead of $25 in a 5/10 game, then I could filter for 2.51 BB raises to get some of the first order stats that I want. But, it's bad enough to have to type 25 all the time, let alone 25.1, 15.06 or 10.04.

Some google searching shows that "poker shortcuts" will make this quick, but people seem to say that it is quite unstable.

Maybe there is some safe way maybe to assign F1-F3 to the keystrokes necessary to change my bet size to what I want for the 3 limits I usually play? google shows some 3rd party software for this, but it feels like I'd be begging for a keylogger to be installed on my system.

thanks,

Lot's of people use scripts like that - if you search on the 2+2 forums you'll find reputable scripts, but you do need to be careful with that sort of thing.

Hehe, I tried one of the apps I found, tableninjaFT. Seemed to work at first, but it started to get twitchy on me. Sometimes after I had changed the bet, it would change it back to its calculation. Sometimes it did the math wrong. I stopped using it after it minbet a table UTG I wasn't even focused on. Scary.

Sorry to keep bugging, but:

It's impossible to make a report based on the stats of your opponents, right? What I want is to see how often I steal the blinds from the button, when the blinds fold so much I should do it with any 2 cards.

It's possible, it's just tough getting the query right.

Just to make sure I know what you want:

You want to display your attempt to steal percentage when you're on the button, and when people who have fold to steal percentages high enough that it's profitable to steal with any two cards? I'd need to know exactly how much you steal for in that case (in order to figure out the fold to steal %s you want - if you know what %s you want, if you tell me I can help you get it done using them though :).

Exactly.

For an instant profit, you'd need both of them to fold > 62.5% combined, given my 2.5BB raise size. Which is just SBF%*BBF% > .625.

Or, SBF% > 85 and BBF% > 75 would be good enough.

I saw from the post that you linked earlier that it was possible to get the report based on the player's name, but I didn't expect that you could reach into their stats, also. Sweet. Any chance the stats would be the ones available at the time of the hand (like the HUD is during replays)?

If you want to build a query complicated enough, you can do nearly anything with the custom reports feature (as I've been learning lately!).

Which do you prefer: looking at combined fold to steal (SB&BB) for each player or looking at the SB's fold to steal from SB and the BB's fold to steal from BB?

So we're in the Holdem Cash Player Statistics section. Add the Attempt to Steal stat. Make sure you filter on active player, and for times you had a steal opportunity (you can do this via the Simple Filters section).

Then add the following two custom filters:

[edit: Removed, see later post; these original filters were incorrect]

That should get you all the cases you want. You can change the numbers there if you would like to see different values; the first one is for the SB's fold to steal % and the second for BB's fold to steal % - here we have SB fold to steal >= 85% and BB fold to steal >= 75% - but if you change the 85 and 75 you can see for other value ranges as you would like.

You do need to have both of these filters there and saved as you want them both running. Do note that this will cause the query to take a while to run, so you may need to be patient depending on your database size.
