No sense in this report

Postby pccarballo » Mon Sep 20, 2010 1:59 am

Hi

Im traying to make a report to see how a player reacts to a 3 bet on the turn. I do end up that the player faced a 3 bet on turn 3 times. In one he folded, the other called and the last one he 4bet.

But when making a report with Raise %, Fold % and Call % (and the filter "Facing 3 Bet turn) they do not get 33% each.

They get 42.11% for Call% (8/19), 36,84% for Raise% and 5,26% for Fold%

I dont get why...

Thanks!

You can only fold or raise if you face a bet or a raise, and can only bet if it is checked to you, so the percentages won't add up to 100.

I dont know if i express myself correctly..

This is a report that is filtered to only show a specific session and only when "Facing a 3 bet on turn". If I´m facing a 3bet my only options are: raise, fold, call.

Villian has 3 hands in which he is facing a 3 bet on the turn. When I do look at those hands manually, he calls one, folds other and raise the last one. From my point of view when I make the report with Call %,Fold% and Raise% they should be 33,33%..

The % stats for the turn have a denominator of total turn actions over the hand set involved. They're legacy stats for the Details tab; you probably don't want to be using them here (in this particular example, you'll find that in those hands the player bet the turn 5/19 times).

The stats you want to use are Fold to T 3bet, Call T 3bet and Raise T 3bet.

The only thing I understand from your reply is that this stats can´t be used here... :)

Fold Turn % is the number of times a player has folded on the turn divided by the number of total turn actions a player has taken (# of bets + # of calls + # of raises + # of folds) - since the # of bets isn't included in your report, that is why things aren't adding up to 100.
