stat formulation

Postby raph156 » Sun Sep 25, 2011 11:57 am

Hi,
I would like: amount stack player pre flop and amount stack player flop. So the difference *2 = pot on flop in HU.
Thanks for help.

I found thise: holdem_hand_summary.amt_p_effective_stack
So thats seems to be the solution of the unpossibility to know pot size on the street when there is no bet. I searched that for long time, was so logique...
With that i can know the stack size and the pot on any street. I ll try it.

holdem_hand_player_detail.amt_before is the player's stack preflop, though we don't have his flop stack size only his effective stack size on the flop.

So, amount stack preflop, what is the difference between :
holdem_hand_summary.amt_p_effective_stack
holdem_hand_player_detail.amt_before
I dont know the difference between flop stack size and effective stack size on the flop. May be i can understand an exemple, my english is bad.
thise expression is valid: holdem_hand_summary.amt_f_effective_stack
That give me amount stack at the oppening of the street?
Can i know amount stack at the oppening and during the street, after a bet for exemple?

Thanks for help

amt_p_effective_stack is the size of the smallest preflop stack.

So if you have 3 people:

Hero (100)
Villain 1 (90)
Villain 2 (20)

amt_p_effective_stack is 20. If Villain 1 raises 3 and Villain 2 folds and Hero calls, then at the flop amt_f_effective_stack = 87 (90 - 3).

If Villain 2 were to leave, amt_p_effective_stack would be higher for the hands once he's gone (assuming no other stack size changes).

amt_before for Hero is 100, 90 for Villain 1 and 20 for Villain 2. Note that these values are in terms of the currency the hand was played in.

In a HU, with that i can count number of 6bb pot flop ?
sum( if[holdem_hand_summary.amt_p_effective_stack - holdem_hand_summary.amt_f_effective_stack = 6 , 1, 0])

I think your idea is good, but the effective stack sizes are in money, so to get the number of BB you need to divide by holdem_limit.amt_bb. (or multiply by it, depending on which side you use it.)

Also, if the effective stack sizes are 6 less that means that the pot is 12 because both players bet 6, so to get 6BB pots you'll need to check for the difference being 3.
e.g.

sum( if[holdem_hand_summary.amt_p_effective_stack - holdem_hand_summary.amt_f_effective_stack = 3 * holdem_limit.amt_bb , 1, 0])
