opponent stats when switching tables

Postby GoGuzzi » Thu Jun 12, 2008 12:38 pm

Using the trial version of PT3 w/ attached HUD --

On multi-table SNG's, when I'm moved to a new table, my new advesaries all start w/ zero hands played and no stats...am I configured wrong? I thought the stats would be gathered on all the players in the tournament whether I was at the table or not. I assume in non-SNG tournaments I would have the same issue.

Should I be using "observed tables" database instead? And could I do that in the trial version since I'm only allowed one database?

Thanks much --Guzzi

PAHud questions only - NOT PT3 HUD.

Stats will only be available for those players who you have "seen" play hands - this means having the table open and writing hand history files (some sites will do this when you are not playing at the table, others won't). But you won't get stats for other players in the tournament otherwise.

Do Stars and Tilt allow me to load histories for tables I'm not sitting at currently? How do I do that if these sites do allow that capability?

Stars doesn't - datamining is not allowed there.
Full Tilt does, if you have it writing hand histories then the observed hands are written to the "Hand History" folder so you should have PT import from there rather than the <player> subfolder.
