OK, I may have made some serious mistakes but hopefully things will be reparable.
I wanted to upgrade to PT3 so I downloaded and installed it. I've been running a fairly large database in PT2 of about a million hands spread over a few different sites. I attempted to convert this database to PT3 through the PT3 window and kept getting fatal exception errors. I poked around on these forums looking for explanations as to why I was getting these errors. One solution told me to uninstall Postgres 8.2 and reinstall 8.3 clean so I uninstalled 8.2 and PT3 and just reinstalled PT3 with Postgres. Now, however, it finds no currently existing Pokertracker 2 databases at all!
Furthermore, when I open up PT2, I get the following error:
Unable to connect to the database.
999 - SQLSTATE = IM002
[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specifed
What do I do now? Honestly, I would prefer to get everything working in PT3 as that's the wave of the future but I really would like to have things working again in PT2 at least until I am comfortable with PT3. Is this fixable? Like an idiot, I haven't backed up the database in about a month so I'm hoping the answer is yes....
