This error means the database file may be corrupted. Try using the Utilities > Repair A Poker Database option to fix it.

I am getting this same message after downloading the new patch for pt2...I go to repair the poker database and I get a message that i'm unable to repair database, Make sure that you don't have the database open in another program (like gametime+ or PokerAce HUD)......I don't have these open....also as a side I haven't been able to compact my database recently and get the same message

Are you using Vista?
Try restarting the computer and as soon as it comes back up open just PT and then try to do the repair.

If that doesn't work, with Poker Tracker closed, try repairing the database following the steps listed here:
