ODBD Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed

Postby SEABEAST » Mon Aug 11, 2008 7:59 pm

My PTO tells me that my Database needs to be repaired.

However, when I try and repair it, I get an error message saying "ODBD Microsoft Access Driver Login Failed" "Invalid Argument" until eventually my PTO closes itself.

I am also unsure about converting my Databases to PostgreSQL, I don't know how to put a value in the OBCD Entry column.

Please help!

Try repairing the database using these steps:

1. Start / Settings / Control Panel / ODBC Data Sources or if you use XP or
Start / Settings / Control Panel / Administrative Tools / ODBC Data Sources

2. On the window that opens, click the System DSN tab.

3. Click on the entry PTRACKO and click the "Configure..." button.

4. Click the "Repair..." button on the next window.

5. On the next window that pops up, ptracko.mdb should be highlighted but if it's not, select it and click OK.

If the ODBC Entry to Use dropdown is empty then see this thread for possible solutions:
