where x.y is your PostgreSQL version although you may have it installed elsewhere. Also how much free space do you have?

The size of the Postgres data folder is 28,7 go. And size on the disk 23,3 go
And I only have 5,44 go free space on the disk

I think I have to delete lot of useless stuff to make enough place ?

Hello

What I would like to do is to delete all this old data and run the new version of pt4 with a new database
Cause I don’t need to use all these hands
Please if it’s possible , can you explain me how to do this step by step cause I am not very good, in computer stuff

Also it’s an issue for me to restore 30 go free space on the disk

Thx a lot

If you cannot free up disk space then you can delete existing database(s) via PGADmin if you are sure you don't need anything from there. Click your Windows Start button then type the following:

pgadmin

and click on it when it appears. Double click on "PostgreSQL x.y" (where x.y is your PostgreSQL version) and if your prompted for a password the default is "dbpass" (without the quotes). Next double click on "Databases" to open that tree and you should see your database(s). To delete a database select it, right-click on it and click "Delete/Drop". When all the database(s) are deleted the next time you start PokerTracker 4 you should be able to create a new database. Another option if you have a larger secondary drive is to just uninstall PostgreSQL, delete the "data" directory that's left behind to get the space back and then reinstall PostgreSQL to the secondary drive.

Thanks for the update. If you have access to the 'Database Management' window now you can delete the data from there instead of using PGAdmin. Also if you want to populate your new database with some of your most recent data then you can manually import hands from your 'Processed' folder using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk' where the hands should be organised by site/date:

C:\Documents and Settings\{Windows Login}\Local Settings\Application Data\PokerTracker 4\Processed
