Gross Won vs. Chips Won in Hero v Villain Report?

Postby FiveByFive » Sun Jan 31, 2021 12:33 pm

What is the difference between Gross Won and Chips Won in the Hero v. Villain report?

I was trying to figure out and review hands against the players I've been losing to the most, so I pulled the Hero v Villain report. Against the player who had beat me the most, I had 3.4 million gross won and 15.7 million gross lost according to the the report. But then when I click on the name and look over our hand history, I have a PLUS 14.1 million chips won advantage. Shouldn't that chips won stat match my net winnings with this player (-12.3 million)? I've double checked and both are set for all hands and have the same number of total hands. What am I missing or what is the difference between these stats?

The top half of the 'Hero vs Villain' report is filtered in such a way to calculate your net winnings vs a specific player but that isn't going to match the actual results of the hands in the hand report below if you are playing multiway hands. In any individual hand you might win/lose a BB or two from that player but then go on to win/lose even more from the other players involved in those hands.
