LOST MY WHOLE YEAR of database?

Postby Mauro Chavez » Fri Feb 12, 2021 12:01 pm

Hello everyone I have just had a problem with my database, it doesnt allowed me to connect by this problem "Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: could not connect to server: Connection refused (0x0000274D/10061) Is the server running on host "???" and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432?". I read already this link https://www.pokertracker.com/forums/vie ... 58&t=99515
but I think I made a mistake, because I unistalled my old postreSQL 9.5 version, I did it because the service does not run when I open the task in windows 10.
So I decided to install a new postreSQL but 9.6 and I created a new database, but now it doesnt find my old database! Did I lost it? How can I fix this, help please!!!
This is how it looks now, it doesnt show the Size of my old database

To try and connect to the original databases again you will need to uninstall PostgreSQL v9.6 and then reinstall PostgreSQL v9.5. Alternatively you can restore into the new PostgreSQL from a backup if you have one or reimport from the original hand histories into a new database using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'. By default PokerTracker 4 moves your files to your 'Processed' folder which you can access via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option on a Windows machine:
