omaha range exclude issue!

Hi.

I am trying to exclude my range in the following manner :
first i manually add 8*** hands. Next id like to exclude all "top percentage of hands" between 17-100.
So result would be that my range is when (8*** and top 16%) statements are true.

Is it possible to operate this on pt4? I didnt find a way. :cry:

You can add two separate filters (Hand Values -> Omaha Hand Range -> Add Range -> Include a Range) to specify that your hole cards contain an 8 and is in the top 16.64% of hands:

(Omaha Hi Hand Range: RANGE[H:8***]) AND (Omaha Hi Hand Range: RANGE[PCT:17])

Heres 2nd pic. i am adding two filters now but theres is + instead of AND -statement. What do i do wrong?

Add the filters separately:

1. 'More Filters -> Hand Values -> Omaha Hand Range -> Add Range -> Include a Range -> Manual Range -> 8*** -> Create Range -> Done -> Add To Filter'.

Thanks for the information, that was actually helpful too. I am still struggling with this.

Now I understand your quide but I cannot copy it to equity calculator. It just filters out my hand bank that contains information below as u wrote earlier.

Sorry but there currently isn't a method to apply that range within the equity calculator.
