Error Importing

Postby andees10 » Tue Mar 02, 2021 6:33 pm

When I was running my hud today on pokerstars hands were being imported as Errors. Does this have anything to do with updating pt4? Are my hands lost forever?

The hands are not lost. So we can see the details of the errors you are receiving please enable logging, reproduce this problem and then send your log file to us in a Support Ticket. You can access the 'Logs' folder with the log file by clicking 'File --> Open User Data Folder' in the main PokerTracker 4 window and the file we need is the text file called 'PokerTracker4' or 'PokerTracker4.log' that is in that folder.

When I updated to version 4.15.28 I am no longer getting the errors importing.

All I need now is to get the hands from yesterday that were imported as errors. Is there a way for me to do this or do I need to still submit a ticket?

Those files get moved to your processed folder and you can import from them again using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk':

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Processed (Windows)

\Users\{Mac Login}\Documents\PokerTracker\Processed (Mac)

Guide: Processed Files

If you do not see the AppData folder in Windows File Explorer then please refer to this guide.
