Postgre SQL

Hi,

I read that the basic version pt4 use is the Postgre sql v12. As I have installed PT4 some years ago my version of PG SQL is 9.3.
Would it be useful to manually update the version of PG SQL?
And in case of a positive answer could you please give me a guide of how to do it.

If you are not having any problems then updating PostgreSQL may not be worth it.
We are not seeing any huge differences in performance between versions but if your database is especially large or slow then you may want to consider it.

Although it mentions PostgreSQL 10, the process is the same whichever version you update to.
(Do not upgrade to anything higher than the latest 12.x version as there are incompatibilities at this time.)
