PT4 Crashing After Update Cache Became Unresponsive

Postby Reg1974 » Tue Feb 13, 2024 7:05 pm

Hi

I bought some heat maps today and after importing them, I tried to do the cache update as advised.

During this process, PT4 crashed and I had to end up closing the software as it was not responding.

Since then, when I have tried to use the software, hands are no longer stopped importing and when I try to update the cache again, the program immediately becomes unresponsive.

I am an old man and have very limited technical skills. Could someone clever advise me how to fix this please and try to explain it like I am five.

Thanks.

It's normal for PokerTracker 4 to not respond while the database cache is being updated and since the previous attempts haven't finished your database will not be in a usable state until the cache update has been restarted and finished. This might take some time if you have a large database and make sure that your computer does not power itself off or go to sleep while it's running or you will need to run it again from the start.
