Setting Color Range Without Overlap/Gaps

Postby NimhOfJoy » Tue Mar 20, 2012 8:42 am

I'm having trouble figuring how to make everything show up a particular color. I had this same problem on PT3. On my hud, I have the below ranges defined, but I'm finding some of the stats are still showing up in white - how would I define PFR stats so everything is color-coded? I tried doing it out to 2 decimals places in PT3, but it didn't entirely work - there were a few corner cases, but I didn't really delve into fixing it; now that I'm moving over to PT4, I want to get this set right. How do I fix it?

You can just use the same number - if you have one from 0 to 17 and the next from 17 to 21 you'll see the first color up to and including 17 exactly, then the next color for any value over 17 no matter how slight.

Ok but (and I know this is a super-marginal corner case) how would it handle it if it was exactly 17? What color does it show up as?

Whichever is listed first (topmost) in your list. Using the colors you have above, that would be the very dark red.

And what about using same color for two different ranges?

You can do that if you want.
