Resetting pokertracker 4

Postby snoopieee » Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:50 pm

Hello so i downloaded pokertracker 4 quite a long time ago and now i have decided to play some online poker again.

However my pokertracker 4 profile and settings are all over the place. the settings and everything are different.

How do i COMPLETELY reset ALL my pokertracker settings to the point where it will seem im a brand new downloaded? i dont like the current settings i had before and i just want the original settings back on it so i can customise pokertracker the new way i want to and not leaving something as it it.

In the PT4 menu go to File > Open User Data Folder then close PT4.
In the window that opened rename the "Data" folder to "Data.old" and then run PT4 again.
This will reset all of your custom stats, reports, Hud profiles, etc. (If you later remember something you want to recover it will still be in that folder so we'll be able to recover it. Once you're sure you don't need anything you can delete that Data.old folder.)

You can rename the entire PokerTracker 4 folder and then when starting PokerTracker 4 again a default one will be created:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\

Rename the folder rather than deleting it so you don't lose things you might need later such as your original hand history files. Note that when doing this you may need to register PokerTracker 4 again and reconnect to your database(s). If you also want to start again with no existing hands then you can create a new database:
