What is session stats (on the HUD)?
How hands are segmented for that? Based on Table / Tourney / Time?
Could you please show me an example SQL query that grabs some basic session stat?

Session stats are stats from the current cash table or current tournament.
If you enable logging (Configure > Options) you can check the log file to see the full queries that PT4 makes to the database.
