Upgrade Pricing

Postby soonerdawg » Sat Feb 08, 2020 11:15 am

I am looking to upgrade from the small stakes version of PT 4 to the full version, but am not sure how to do so in a way that doesn't charge me the full price (I have already paid for the small stakes only tracker)

Thanks

I upgraded to the full version but so far I am not showing anything in my states above $50 NL (I should have stats all the way to 1/2 NL). Is there something I need to do to manually get these hands into tracker?

Rebooting didn't work.

I was under the impression that with the upgrade, it would show the hands I played above 50 NL prior to the upgrade. Just in case I was wrong, I played a hand at 100 NL a short time ago (at least 2 hours after the upgrade) and it did not record that hand either

Higher stakes hands are blocked from importing when using a small stakes license so older hands will need to be reimported from your 'Processed' folder using 'Play Poker -> Get Hands From Disk'.

Literally 1 single hand? Did PokerTracker 4 report that hand as being imported? Did you perhaps close the table before the hand completed? Does that hand history file exist on your computer?

Yes, one hand, lol....10 NL is my usual stake, I played the one hand because I wanted to see if it would record it. No, I don't think I saw the whole hand through. Guess I should've played 2! I will try the manual iport as you suggested.

I don't see a processed folder when I do this. I'm not a technology guy, so I'll play a few hands at a higher stake and if it saves those then i guess i can do without what I had done before the upgrade, although it annoys me

Unfortunately if you were to close the table too early then your poker site may not have had a chance to write the complete hand history file.

On a Windows computer you can access your 'Processed Folder' via the 'File -> Open User Data Folder' option in PokerTracker 4:

C:\Users\{Windows Login}\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Processed

Guide: Processed Files

If you do not see the AppData folder when navigating in Windows File Explorer then you will need to unhide that directory - see this guide. If you are on a Mac then your processed files will be stored here:

\Users\{Mac Login}\Documents\PokerTracker\Processed

Guide: Processed Files
